Cristo Rey San José Jesuit High School is hiring for a full-time position with shared responsibilities in
two different roles: Athletic Director and Health & Wellness Teacher. This assignment consists of
teaching 1-2 classes of Health & Wellness while also managing our athletic program. This unique position
combines the leadership of an Athletic Director with the instructional expertise of a Health & Wellness
Teacher. This position will be responsible for overseeing the school's athletic programs, ensuring a
positive and safe environment for student-athletes, while also fostering a culture of health and well-being
through engaging classroom instruction.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES – ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Instructional Practice & Student Development
Athletic Director:
Lead, manage, and supervise the entire athletic department, including coaches, trainers, and
support staff.
- Oversee the budget for athletics, ensuring responsible allocation of funds for equipment, travel,
and operations.
- Schedule games and practices, adhering to league regulations and promoting a balanced
athletic calendar.
- Secure fields and/or other necessary facilities for practices and competitions for sports we are
not able to host on campus.
