Lisa & Leroy is an interior design firm that offers a full-service approach to interiors. We work with clients on every aspect of their interiors and have a ton of fun doing it. Want a kitchen remodel? We do that. Looking for draperies and a living room revamp? We do that too.
The Project Manager will work in partnership with our clients, internal team, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
MATERIALS
- Manage field team on-hand materials inventory
- Furnish updated hard copies of applicable construction documents to field personnel
- Order and organize timely delivery of construction and FFE materials to the job site
PROJECT ASSISTANCE
- Bidding - complete initial proposals for potential projects. Procure sub-contractor bids
- Supervision, quality control, and problem-solving – manage projects from inception through completion, including regular site visits, coordination of field personnel, and reviewing the progress of subcontractors and the L&L Field Team. Visit active sites and create daily reports.
- Coordination of all schedules, trades, and material deliveries – create and maintain project schedules and three-week forecasts to ensure timely delivery of milestones; proactively manage and communicate deviations from schedule to team and subs. Develop contingency plans as necessary. Assist in scheduling field team and subcontractors
Secure trade, building, and dumpster permits, as assigned.
- Take-off and procurement - complete project take-offs and ensure materials are ordered and delivered timely for each project.
- On-site coordinating of the project – monitor construction to determine compliance with plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, industry standards, safety protocols, and regulations. Schedule job-site trash services.
- See that projects are handled professionally, timely, and safely – establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships among co-workers, partners, clients, contractors, consultants, municipal officials, etc. Work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Oversee project close-out – including preparation of punch list, securing sign-offs, and final inspections. Coordinate with other team members for proper cleaning, staging (as applicable), and necessary marketing (as applicable). Pay sub-contractors upon completion.
- Previous experience with Buildertrend, or similar, is preferred.
- Select Saturdays are expected if the project demands it.
- Find and vet new vendors and subcontractors
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 7-10 years work experience working in residential construction
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot when issues arise and see jobs through to the end
- Proficiency in Buildertrend or other project management software is preferred
- Proficient computer skills; A knowledge of Apple & Google products is required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communicator, confident in dealing with a wide range of individuals
- Comfortable with ever-changing needs and ambiguity
- Ability to lift up to 45lb
- Must have an active driver’s license and a clean driving record
