POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the supply chain management and inventory control processes of the regional branch warehouses, to support the warehouses in the region, monitoring performance and accuracy, assisting with inventory control, conducting warehouse training, assisting with warehouse coverage, as needed, and ensuring the Company’s safety rules are followed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Supports the Production Department, The Company, and Ownership by meeting productivity goals and being a team player.
2. Expands their warehouse knowledge by cross-training in other areas, when available, and helps when needed.
3. Contributes to a safe work environment.
4. Demonstrates quality work performance.
5. Maintains good attendance.
6. Utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP to monitor inventory accuracy, inventory discrepancies, and errors.
7. Tracks cycle count queues, reports on weekly progress, and works with individual warehouses to ensure compliance and accuracy is maintained.
8. Enters miscellaneous inventory counts into Warehouse Management System as needed.
9. Tracks Installation and Service work queues, reports on monthly progress, and works with individual warehouses to ensure compliance and accuracy is maintained.
10. Conducts audits of installation and service material costing to ensure SOPs are followed.
11. Identifies and reports on operational errors impacting inventory accuracy. Posts inventory corrections actions as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
1. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Possess basic mathematical skills, be able to operate a calculator, and have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
5. Proficient in reading and writing, using the English language and be able to both speak and write in a clear, informative, and professional manner.
6. Proficient with computers and software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Ability to demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
8. Ability to read, analyze and interpret work-related documents, written instructions, oral communication.
9. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
10. Must be able to work standing for entire shift, and perform repetitive bending, turning, twisting, kneeling, and reaching motions, in addition to lifting some materials overhead.
11. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
12. Must be able to push and pull up to 75 pounds.
13. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
14. Travel required to Davenport, Sioux Falls SD, and/or Peoria IL.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
