A Northern California restaurant group is seeking an Operations Manager to support the CEO of multiple restaurants in the Northern California area. This operational role includes managing calendars, scheduling meetings, project management, H/R, and some light accounting. Our ideal candidate has a passion for the Restaurant industry! Thisposition is an onsite work position, with a work schedule of 40 hours per week. Benefits for all full-time positions include health, vision and dental along with competitive pay starting at $25 - $30 per hour (DOE).
Summary of Job Duties:
- Manage and coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and events.
- Knowledge of Front of the House/Back of the House operations.
- Knowledge of proper service standards for the restaurants.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations for all restaurants.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and proficiency of TOAST Software.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents using tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring all documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Assist in invoicing and tracking expenses.
- H/R and light accounting knowledge is required.
Job Requirements:
- Food and Beverage industry experience required.
- MS Suite (Word, EXCEL & PowerPoint) is necessary.
- AP/AR experience with knowledge of QuickBooks is a huge plus!
- A bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
- Possess a high-level attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in an Administrative and/or Operations support role preferred.
