Legal Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Administrative Assistant. Recent college graduates interested in the field of law are encouraged to apply. As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will be a member of a practice group supporting the managing attorney and have an opportunity to directly serve clients. You will provide case support by conducting legal research, managing documents, preparing case submissions, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask, and will thrive in a fast-paced team atmosphere. As a Legal Administrative Assistant with our firm, you will be responsible for a variety of assignments but will focus primarily on providing administrative support to our attorneys and paralegals in our highly successful mass tort litigation department.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist attorney in managing the caseload, including drafting correspondence, filing documents, and maintaining case files
- Client service, including answering client calls
- Assist with case management duties such as document review, maintaining client data and summarizing medical records
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary materials and information for cases
- Perform legal research using resources such as WestLaw and other online databases
- Accurately maintain case data in case management software

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
