We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team and provide primary care services to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, collecting payments, and other administrative duties. We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
- Verify patient insurance information and ensure accuracy of data entered into the system.
- Process payments and provide receipts to patients.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
- Must have 2 years of experience with eCW
Qualifications
- Medical administrative support experience
- Proficiency in patient service and front desk operations
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively
- Experience in providing customer service in a medical setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
