Our office is seeking a seasoned Tax Preparer with depth of experience to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and reviewing complex returns, and managing a tax department.

The Senior Tax Preparer responsibilities to the client: Tax planning for private clients, researches tax accounting issues and is able to relay the information in a clear and concise way. Provides and develops tax planning techniques for clients while addressing their needs and seek new opportunities for existing and potential clients. Improves client tax administration by recommending procedures, guidelines, systems, documentation, and reporting to federal, state, local, and foreign authorities.
Senior Tax Preparer Responsibilities to the firm: Responsible for training and developing staff, and reviewing tax returns. Perform and review technical tax research, analysis and written information. Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude. Must be knowledgeable in various engagements including Individual and Corporate Taxation, Partnership and Consolidated returns, S-Corp taxation, Trust, Estate and Gift Returns, High net-worth individuals, and state and local matters.
· Ultra Tax software, QuickBooks, Excel & Word experience a must
· Must have strong Trust/Estate tax experience
· Ensure tax returns are filed in a timely manner
· Financial Planning and Strategy while managing Profitability
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
· CPA license with Tax Experience
· Financial & Strategic Planning Skills
· Information Analysis with attention to detail
· Research and consult on various tax matters
· Verbal Communication
· Process Improvement
· Supervisory skills with ability to mentor, train and lead staff
· Good time management and organizational skills
