Position: Senior Financial Controller / CPA
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, budget variance analysis, and financial risk assessment.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and performance metrics.
- Coordinate and oversee external audits and tax filings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimization of financial processes.
- Preparation of multiple company tax filings
- Familiarity with estate and tax planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
