About the role:
This position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the higher education landscape, strong analytical skills, and a proven record of driving impactful strategies. This is an exciting opportunity in a key leadership role to direct a flagship student health clinic serving a leading, innovative university. You will be integral to the clinic's success, responsible for building a strong team and the efficient and effective management of all aspects of clinical operations within a healthcare practice. This includes overseeing the onsite manager- administrative functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing personnel and optimizing patient care delivery. The role will report to the Regional Vice President and directly support the designated Medical Director and corporate client team. The position promises a wide range of challenges and opportunities, with the prospect of significantly improving the health and wellness of a large student body. This role will grow and expand into other higher education groups, with the responsibility of developing and executing strategic inititatives to advance the mission and objectives of our organization within the higher education sector.

Job requirements:
- Oversee the management of large student health clinics, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, staff scheduling, supervision and support to perimeter campus locations, and vendor support.
- Supporting the onsite team to ensure patient needs are met. Monitors patient through-put, wait times, and feedback and then designs, leads, and implements process improvements
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and continued development of staff, collaborate/develop/implement new service offerings with the input and support of the Account executive.
- Collaborate with management on staff reviews, feedback, and disciplinary action.
- Oversees and supports coordination of health care services from the onset of work-related injury evaluation through worker's compensation injury, disability, and return to work evaluation and return to work or an optimal alternative.
- Communicate effectively in a timely manner to management regarding all site and staff issues, including escalated staff, patient, or facility issues.
- Assistant with other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development of comprehensive strategic plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives in the higher education sector. Identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to assess the competitive landscape, identify growth opportunities, and anticipate changes in the higher education industry. Use data-driven insights to inform strategic recommendations and initiatives.
- Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with higher education institutions, associations, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Identify opportunities for collaboration, joint initiatives, and resource sharing to advance mutual goals.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products, services, and solutions tailored to the needs of higher education institutions. Lead the design, development, and launch of new offerings that address market demands and drive revenue growth.
- Thought Leadership: Establish the organization as a thought leader in the higher education space by publishing articles, white papers, and research reports. Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and speaking engagements to share insights and expertise.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including university administrators, faculty members, policymakers, and industry leaders, to understand their needs, priorities, and challenges. Build relationships and foster trust to position the organization as a trusted partner and advisor.
- Performance Measurement: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and evaluate their impact. Monitor progress against goals, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the higher education strategy team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to empower team members to excel in their roles.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree preferred (Master's) in higher education, public health, business administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic planning, business development, or consulting, with a focus on the higher education sector.
- Deep understanding of higher education trends, challenges, and opportunities, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives that deliver measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex data, synthesize insights, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential impact on higher education.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences, and represent the organization externally.
