Hours:
2nd Shift 3:15pm-11:45pm, training may require working for 3-4 weeks on first shift 7:00am-3:30pm

Starts at $18.50, DOE, +$1 shift differential
General Summary:
We are a manufacturer of high performance ropes. You will be responsible for operating Twisting Machines throughout the Twisting Department, the first step in the rope making process.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operates all twisting, winding, and braiding machines.
- Responsible for retrieving and following an electronic schedule on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following 6S standards.
- Operate the machine according to specific process documentation.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
- Ability to identify problems with products and/or machinery and report it immediately.
- Maintain paperwork to ensure inventory and production schedules are up to date.
- Follow machine specific preventive maintenance schedules.
- Performs quality control functions by inspecting, identifying and reporting variances in yarn quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to bend, stand, kneel, twist, pull and work overhead.
- Ability to follow detailed operating instructions and perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Knowledge of Company quality assurance expectations and packaging requirements.
