Front Desk Agent
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check-in and check-out guests using the hotel's reservation system
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests or transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Assist guests with luggage and provide directions or recommendations for local attractions
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
