Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing operations within our organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team of nurses. Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and resident rights
- Oversee the coordination of hospice care services for eligible patients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies
- Manage shift schedules and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the organization
Skills:
- Acute care experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of nursing administration principles and practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with hospice care regulations and practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and resident rights
- Solid understanding of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience in home care or nursing home settings is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage shift schedules and staffing levels

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
