GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the Chefs, is responsible for the assistance in all aspects needed in the preparation of the daily kitchen activities. The Line Chef will take a positive and professional approach with co-workers, meet the Chef’s expectations in regards to food preparation and completion of daily tasks, use proper knife skills, and maintain production logs and cleanliness of work areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in the preparation and cooking of the daily menu.
2. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment to ensure it is used properly and safely.
3. Responsible for assurance of cleanliness and organization of the work stations, tools and equipment.
4. Responsible for organization of all prep items for the days menu.
5. Assist in the breakdown of the workstation and complete closing duties according to department standards.
6. Responsible for the assistance of restocking items depleted during the shift.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING
Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills and be familiar with the restaurant functions and duties that are required. Must have 1-3 years experience in similar position.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Service Employee license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $55,900.00 per year
