Job Summary:
Prism Behavioral Solutions is seeking a strong Doctorate candidate to join the clinical team as a paid psychologist associate for CA Board of Psychology pre/post doc hours toward licensure.
Primary responsibilities include psychological testing, scoring, interpretation, diagnosis, and CDE report writing. Since the therapeutic needs of our patient population is broad, candidates with additional interest and specialized training in the application of applied behavioral analysis treatment, behavior management/parent guidance, home/school-based services, and expertise in the assessments and application of these modalities within the field of behavioral health are preferred.
Hours and schedule is very flexible, based on the candidate's availability and preferred days/times.
Employment Standards:
Any combination equivalent to or likely to provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and skills would be: A PhD., Psy.D in psychology from an APA-accredited program and licensure by the California Board of Psychology.
A minimum of 1 year of professional experience providing testing, diagnostic evaluation, service recommendation, and consultation to people with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, or emotional disturbances; their families; and service providers.
Skills and Abilities
All aspects of psychological testing. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, effective counseling, staff supervision and leadership. Ability to work under pressure and assume responsibility for complex tasks. Ability to effectively work with people from different cultures.

Bilingual - Spanish Required
