Role
The Cycle Counter is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding root cause for inventory discrepancies, reconciling inventory variances and accurately recording inventory counts in the system.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Associate degree preferred
- Will consider a High School Diploma + equivalent experience
· Minimum of five (3+) years of distribution inventory cycle counting, reconciliation, and documentation
Previous Training
· General training in Distribution Practices
· Inventory Auditing
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Strong math skills required and must be capable of calculations on calculator and computer
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

Responsibilities
- Counts and tracks physical inventory
- Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts
- Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management
- Records inventory counts in the accounting system
- Investigate and reconcile variances in inventory
- Ensure accuracy of information in the system and compliance with internal controls
- Document counts in the system and generate variance reports.
- Perform all duties according to company policy and procedures
- Perform other duties as required.
Working environment
- This is a distribution position. The facility is not climate controlled, and subject to temperature changes in relation to the seasons.
- Dust and fibers are part of a warehouse environment. Loloi Rugs strives to maintain a clean, clear, and safe work environment and expects all employees to do their part in that effort.
- Loloi’s rugs are produced using a variety of natural fibers, including: wool, viscose, cotton, and jute. Employee will come into contact with these through the normal course of performing everyday job duties.
- Powered equipment is used throughout the distribution facility. Operation of this equipment may or may not be part of the job requirement, but employee must be aware of them in immediate and surrounding work areas.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stoop, stand, and lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Regularly required to work on elevated platforms.
- Regularly required to crouch, reach, bend forward at the waist, bend legs and spine. Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work.
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
- Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing.
- Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
