This role facilitates writing and documentation for all of ICM controls. Its purpose is to provide quality documents that are written in a clear and concise manner with a style appropriate for each function and/or department; i.e., flyers, sales literature, technical instructional documents, correspondence, reports, presentations, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designs, writes or edits a variety of documents used throughout the organization.
- Creates and/or reviews, and edits documents prior to their release in DCentral (ICM document database). Documents are reviewed on a three (3) year rotation.
- Works with Engineering staff to launch new products from design to release. This includes conceptualizing sales literature through technical instructional documents.
- Designs checklists, tables, and any other type of document or visual aid needed.
- Manage all entries into DCentral, industry related and proprietary software database.
- Manages document flow with specific processes: i.e., PPAP, CAPA, ISO
- Work with the Production Dept. to assess document accuracy. If necessary, edit and bring updated document (with control stamp) to shop floor, and then release for general staff access.
- Attends all Quality Assurance meetings and select meetings with other departments.
- Works with external entities with regard to ISO certification; i.e., audits, CAPAs. Position also edits related forms and manuals.
- Collaborates with other departments and assist with their document needs.
- Assists with all other elements and/or projexcts related to Quality Assurance. Serve on projects and/or committees as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA in English (or combination of education and experience).
- Minimum five (5) years writing experience (or two (2) years technical writing experience w/BA/BS)
- Ability to communicate thoroughly both in writing and in-person
- Ability to learn industry related and proprietary software quickly
- Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Suit
- Competency with graphics software/programs.
- Strong visual acuity
- Ability to work with deadlines and special requests
- Ability to handle high maintenance personalities
- Ability to ameliorate and/or diffuse others to include but not limited to:

- Co-workers
- ICM employees from other departments
- Any others where the situation warrants interjection
- Must be able to prioritize work
- Must be an organized self starter and able to work independently

- Should be able to type 75 wpm or more

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
