We are looking for a licensed Nursing Home Administrator for locations in the Greater Boston area. This full-time position comes with competitive pay and benefits including relocation assistance. The NHA is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical and administrative activities of the facility, ensuring compliance with all State and Federal regulations, and managing profit and loss. Above all, the Administrator provides leadership to all facility staff in delivering quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home facility
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality care for residents
- Manage and supervise staff, including nurses, social workers, and caregivers
- Collaborate with medical professionals to create care plans for residents
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services
- Handle budgeting and financial management for the facility
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and community stakeholders
- Address any concerns or complaints from residents or their families
- Other duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator, required
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursing home, preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulations and standards governing long-term care facilities
- Familiarity with dementia care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage staff and promote a positive work environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in operations management and financial oversight
