Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to attorneys in various legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the legal field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, contracts, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather information
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists
- Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate summaries of legal documents
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role
- Proficient in legal drafting and writing skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research using various resources
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using legal case management software
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,233.46 - $64,109.12 per year
