Switchpoint Thrift Store is looking to hire a capable person with retail experience, who can assist with lifting furniture and move donations and other duties at our St George Thrift Store locations.
Great Customer Service Skills a MUST! This is a part time position approx 28 hours/week working varying hours Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Skills:
- -Excellent Customer Service Skills – professional and kind in all interactions with customers, donors, volunteers, team members, etc.
- Able to be on feet for long period of time.
- Great at providing customer service to our guests, donors, and staff
- Able to price items at a thrift store pricing. Has a good understanding of the value of items.
- Very organized and detailed in all that is done.
- Is very reliable and is willing to do what needs to be done get the job done.
- Works well with others. Has a great temperament.
- Is a self-starter.
- Is good at merchandising the store.
- Keeps work area clean and organized.
- Cashier experience helpful
- Must be very accurate with cash handling.
- Backroom training-donation processing, etc., dealing with vendors, etc.
- Opening and closing store procedures training, restocking, displays, etc.
