Responsibilities and Duties
- Check-in/check-out procedures
- Coordinate referrals
- Print and prepare daily schedules
- Maintain clean and neat waiting room on a daily basis
- Collect all demographic information and input into system
- Scan all insurance identification cards and completed registration forms
- Answer phones and delegate accordingly
- Reappoint patients, schedule new patient referrals, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
- Back office experience preferred
- Medical office management preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion
- High school diploma or GED with at least one year experience in a medical office setting
