Requirements
- Successfully passed NCLEX exam.
- A registered nurse (RN) license in the United States.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing science. Please note that 2 year or 3 year diplomas are not eligible.
- One to two years of Operating Room, Recovery Room, Intensive Care or Emergency Room experience is preferred.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred.
- Experience working with the pediatric and adult population is preferred.

Bustling state of the art surgical center seeks a Surgical/Operating Room Registered Nurse. In this outpatient surgery center the speciality areas include orthopedic and ear nose and throat (ENT) serving both the adult and pediatric populations. Peri-operative, operative and postoperative nurses work as a team to provide safe and high quality care.
Proliance Highlands Surgery Center is located in Issaquah, Washington. Issaquah is a beautiful community situated 25 miles outside of Seattle. Located near the Pacific Ocean, lakes, valleys and mountains. This location would excite any adventurer!
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
- Work with all members of the health care team to provide optimal care to the patient throughout their surgical experience.
- Maintain a friendly, positive and caring attitude with all patients, physicians and staff.
- Assist in assuring that equipment is functioning properly and assuring that the proper supplies; instruments and equipment are available for the procedure.
- Monitor use of all supplies used. Assist with inventory control by proper count of supplies/time used.
- Assist surgeons and physicians during operations
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and post-operations.
- Identify actual and potential risk to patients and others and takes action to minimize or eliminate risk and maximize safety.
- Assure the appropriate orders and pre-operative diagnostic testing, and documentation of the care that is given is present and completed.
- Assist in patient education during all phases of their experience at the Center.
- Display problem solving skills, ability to multi-task, able to work independently when needed, and communicate clearly.
