We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team and help us elevate the yoga experience for our members. As the Assistant Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our studio and providing exceptional service to our community.
*Responsibilities:*
- *Customer Service Excellence:* Deliver outstanding customer service by warmly welcoming members, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met before, during, and after classes.
- *Studio Operations:* Assist in the day-to-day operations of the studio, including opening and closing procedures, managing studio cleanliness, and overseeing equipment maintenance.
- *Class Coordination:* Coordinate class schedules, instructor assignments, and studio bookings to optimize studio usage and ensure a seamless experience for members.
- *Sales and Membership:* Promote memberships, class packages, and retail products to drive revenue and foster community engagement. Assist in membership inquiries, sign-ups, and retention efforts.
- *Community Engagement:* Foster a supportive and inclusive community by organizing special events, workshops, and social gatherings. Actively engage with members to build relationships and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- *Team Support:* Work closely with the studio manager to support and motivate the team of instructors and staff. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
- *Administrative Tasks:* Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining member records, processing payments, and managing studio inventory.
*Requirements:*
- Passion for yoga and wellness with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality, preferably in a fitness or wellness environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connect with diverse individuals.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to take initiative and tackle challenges.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Certification in yoga or fitness instruction is a plus but not required.
