Job Summary
The Speech Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, reevaluation, development and treatment of medically prescribed therapy services, in order to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The SLP therapist must be able to work independently, as well as, in teams and make appropriate decisions based on each patient‘s functional needs. Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Maintain good client relations with facilities and their staff. This job requires that therapist provide services at our central clinic and local areas if needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree from an ASHA accredited university
- Appropriate FL from the Florida Department of Health
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) may apply
- Active Medicaid number preferred
- After school hour availability required
- Ability to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and pragmatic disorders
- Ability to treat speech, language and pragmatic disorders in children
- Positive attitude
- Willing to work collaboratively with other professionals.
- Develop strong relationships with families.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Great work ethic
- Experience working with children
- Must be able to take on SLPA if eligible

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
