We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help define the vision and product strategy for how GitHub embeds copilot-powered solutions to help address our customer's most pressing security and CI/CD challenges and to embed customer-centric insights into our roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with engineering to create the vision for embedded copilot into our security and action product lines

Incubate and test new solutions for our most pressing customer challenges

Collaborate with key customers to help them be successful in using GitHub products.

Be the expert on both the application security and CI/CD market to infuse the latest market insights into GitHub’s product strategy

Offer direct insights to partner product management teams regarding new features essential for improving our customer’s experience

Drive the pace of shipping and learning across teams, while maintaining our high quality bar.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management, software development, product design, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in related field OR 3+ years experience in product/service/project/program management, software development, product design, or related field.

2+ years experience translating complex technical direction into actionable priorities and a roadmap and working directly with customers.

2+ years of experience in delivering projects that involve complex technical problems across organizational boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building highly available software platforms and helping customers self-deploy and manage them.

Experience working on developer products, and up-to-speed with current trends around application security.
-
Experience working with AI based products.
-
Experience working remotely and influencing distributed teams.
Compensation Range: The base salary range for this job is USD $104,400.00 - USD $276,900.00 /Yr.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
