What We Are Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with food handling (preferred)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- High motivated with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as an integral part of a team
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, work in extreme cold (freezer), and bend, stoop, crawl, and twist
What You’ll Do As A Warehouse Team Member:
- Promptly unload products into the warehouse and load them onto outbound trucks according to company policies and weight/loading restrictions
- Stage product properly and prepare for efficient loading procedures
- Ensure all equipment is safely operated (e.g., forklifts and pallet jacks)
- Maintain food safety standards throughout the warehouse
- Accurately and effectively operate technology such as scanners
- Enter data correctly
- Ensure the product is accepted and returned per company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Duties
- Perform various warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and order pickers to move and stack materials
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse distribution preferred
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and order pickers
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a neat and efficient warehouse layout
