The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in negotiating medical liens with providers and a strong understanding of statutory liens such as medical and Medicare liens. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to check and confirm various case-related details, effective communication skills in both English and Spanish, and proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
Lien Negotiation: Negotiate medical liens with healthcare providers, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Statutory Liens: Understand and manage statutory liens, including medical and Medicare liens, while complying with legal requirements.
Asset Declaration Verification: Check whether asset declaration forms have been signed by insured drivers in third-party policy limit cases.
Policy Verification: Review first-party declaration pages to determine whether uninsured motorist and medical payments have been exhausted.
Billing Verification: Verify and confirm all billed amounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing records.
Check Management: Maintain meticulous records of incoming and outgoing checks related to lien negotiations.
Client Communication: Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish, providing updates and answering questions regarding lien negotiations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience in negotiating medical liens with healthcare providers.
- Strong understanding of statutory liens, including medical and Medicare liens.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and record-keeping.
