CPA - TAX PROFESSIONAL
KC & Company, P.C., an established local CPA firm, has an opening for a full-time Tax Professional. This position requires 5+ years of tax and accounting experience and a motivated self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently. Public accounting experience a must.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taxes, managing client relationships and contributing to the growth of staff and the practice. In addition, there could be future partnership interest opportunities for the right candidate.
Job Duties include:
- Tax planning, preparation and/or review of individual, corporate and partnership returns
- Preparation and/or review of compiled financial statements
- Assist with response of Federal and State income tax notices
- Research and consult on Federal and State income tax issues as required
- Experience in Lacerte, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and/or similar tax and accounting software a must
- Strong communication and writing skills required for client contact and to relay tax concepts, internally and externally, in meaningful and useful ways.
- Attention to Detail and multi-tasking essential to succeed in position
- CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred
