Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool students
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development
- Teach various subjects, including math, physical education, and special education
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Manage student behavior and promote positive social interactions
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a comprehensive educational experience
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a Bachelor's Program with 90 credits on a study plan in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and enrolled in a Master Program in Early Childhood with Initial Teacher's Certificate in NYS
Master's Degree in Early Childhood and Professional Teachers Certification in B-2
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged students
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively plan and organize lessons
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
Must be Computer Literate
