Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients as they arrive at the dental office or medical facility.
- Collect and verify patient information, including personal details and insurance information.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients or their representatives.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all information.
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Skills:
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical records systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures.
- Experience working in a dental office or medical facility is preferred.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
