Job Summary:
The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reconcile and audit daily boat logs and fuel logs.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry, copying, scanning, and filing.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.
- Provide support to other departments as assigned.
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment
- Proficient in computerized systems and software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- QuickBooks experience preferred.
The office assistant will primarily work in an office setting, with regular hours from 9-5 pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required during busy periods or special projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
