- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
- Set up dental instruments and prepare for procedures
- Disinfect operatories and sterilize equipment following guidelines
- Take high quality digital radiographs
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
- Perform routine deep cleaning of operatories

- Texas Registered Dental Assistant license (required)
- Experience working as an RDA in a dental office (preferred)
- Nitrous oxide monitoring certification (required, may obtain later)

- Proficient in taking high quality, diagnostic digital x-rays
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for same-day dental restorations
- Ability to assist the dentist chairside during various procedures as well as keeping up with a fast-paced office environment
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Ability to take vital signs and record patient information accurately
- Knowledge of aseptic technique in a dental setting
- Familiarity with dental coding for insurance billing purposes
- Experience working as a dental receptionist is a plus
