We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with patients of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will play a vital role in helping individuals improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
- Provide direct therapy services to patients in various settings such as hospitals, acute care units, and pediatric clinics
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech-language disorders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
