Restaurant Products Guild is hiring Customer Service Representative team members to provide great quality customer service to our current and new customers through the daily management of corporate accounts. Sales order entry for various products, communicate and expedite customer’s needs across company internal departments. Problem-solving comes naturally to customer care specialists. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains professional and positive relationships with internal and external customers via phone, in-person and/or email
- Learn and have good understanding of company products, internal processes and systems
- Data entry and edits orders into SAP B1 ERP system
- Records and/or files copies of orders received within the department workflow process
- Prints all required shipment documents and/or forwards to the customer for review
- Provide best product shipment freight cost for customers to confirm
- Informs the customer of all required unit requirements, prices, anticipated shipping date, and anticipated delays prior to ship dates, and any additional information required
- Follows up on orders to ensure the material ships by and/or delivers by the purchase order due dates with the customers, communicates any delays to customer
- Confirms orders shipped complete
- Answers phone calls for both internal and external customers
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Generate sales leads, and develop new customer accounts to expand company sales.
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service function
- Energetic, organized, self-driven individual, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school or equivalent required. Post high school education is preferred
Preferred qualifications:
- Hospitality furniture and seating industry experience is preferred
- Organized individual who are self-driven to exercise independent judgement with minimal guidance
- Comfortable with technology and the ability to apply it to learn new systems and processes
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
