Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs
- Administer anesthetics to patients as necessary
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive dental care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management systems (Eaglesoft)
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental practice management systems such as Eaglesoft
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff members
