Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team.
As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and coordinating treatment plans for our patients.
This position requires strong communication skills, time management, and punctuality.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate treatment plans for patients, including scheduling appointments, obtaining necessary authorizations, Collecting outstanding balances/AR, and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients, answering phone calls and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Collaborate with teamto ensure seamless coordination of patient care
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is positive
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical administration is a plus
- Previous experience working in a medical office or dental office setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with Open Dental systems is a plus
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
Note: All positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.91 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
