Pediatric Physical Therapist and/or Physical Therapy Assistant Needed

**Position: ** Pediatric Physical Therapist- PT or PTA welcome
**Responsibilities: **
- Evaluate and assess the physical needs of pediatric patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and motor skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
-Supervision of PTA as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
1 Holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy 2 Licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy (holds a valid current license) 3 Eligible for enrollment in the Arkansas Medicaid Provider Program. 4 Satisfactorily pass drug screens, criminal background checks, Adult & Child Maltreatment & FBI checks, requirements of BBDCS and Licensing Specialist.
TO PERFORM THIS JOB SKILLS SATIFACTORIALLY
A Knowledge of the principals, methods, and techniques of physical therapy. B Ability to interpret, evaluate and relate information relating to a gross motor delay/physical impairment/diagnosis from available records, observations, and examinatons, performed by the licensed supervising physical therapist C Ability to counsel and guide parents, family members, and staff regarding treatment program and home program, when necessary following direct consultation with the supervision physical therapist. D LANGUARE SKILLS-ability to speak, read and communicate the English Language, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, handbooks, reports, correspondence, files, etc. Must speak effectively before groups of consumers, employees, and other groups as needed. E MATHMATICAL SKILLS: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. F Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commons since understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problem solving several concrete variables in standardized situations. G Other skills or abilities: Must have a comprehensive knowledge of behavior modification methods, the ability to analyze consumer problems and behaviors and understanding of operational procedures and the ability to help consumers work through problem solving. H Physical Demands: this described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
