The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying leads, researching and identifying potential customers, qualifying their interest and fit, scheduling meetings and closing business.
What will you be doing?
- As a part of a regional sales team, apply pipeline generation skills to identify and acquire new customers in small and emerging medium sized enterprises to help grow and develop our business in the Americas
- Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate our broad value propositions to business leaders with confidence and enthusiasm
- Research potential customers from lists provided to understand prospective client’s organization and goals to support building trusted relationships
- Use phone, email, and other tools to contact cold or warm client leads to generate meetings to understand complex customer challenges and business pains while educating prospective clients on the value that we can offer
- Document activities to identify which elements of campaigns resonate with prospective clients to maximize results
- Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities in our CRM systems
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a sales or business development role in a target driven environment
- High motivation, resilience, positive attitude and ambition to build a career with The Instant Group

- Very strong communication skills with ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools
- Knowledge of sales processes and techniques preferred
