Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work with individuals of all ages to provide therapy and support for various behavioral and mental health issues. Duties:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individual needs and develop treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, and psychotherapy
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address behavioral challenges and promote emotional well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of behavioral therapy
- Work with pediatric patients to address developmental delays and behavioral issues
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and interventions
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ICD-10 for accurate assessment and treatment planning
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all aspects of practice
- Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders or developmental disabilities
- Understanding of pediatric psychology principles and interventions
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques based on individual needs and preferences
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field (required)
- Certification or licensure as a Behavioral Therapist (preferred)
- Previous experience in behavioral therapy or related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance billing processes (preferred)
