The Crust restaurant serves breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Sunday from 8 AM to 4 PM. We would be interested in speaking with any and all interested candidates about this opportunity. Morning/afternoon availability is required in order to be considered for a back of house position with Crust.
Pay is server minimum wage plus tips. Tips can average out to anywhere between $15-$20 an hour.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learning the menu including food, Crust baked goods, specialty cocktails, beer selection etc.
- Properly executing the steps of service for every customer from beginning to end
- Completion of side work
- Maintain friendly and positive guest relations at all times
- Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all customers
- If not already certified, serves are required to obtain a TIPS (or any other accredited alcohol service training) certification upon being hired
- Use experience to up sell and boost sales
- Use customer service skills to gain repeat business and continue adding to our large group of regular customers
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Serving experience required
- Beer, wine, cocktail, and liquor knowledge
- Use of POS systems
- Extraordinary customer service skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Skilled at personalizing guest experience
- Able to handle guest complaints with grace and professionalism
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
