Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, laser bacterial reduction and polishing teeth
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Administer local anesthesia
- Take dental radiographs and interpret the results
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including providing instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Dentrix)
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state]
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Proficiency in using dental software (Dentrix) for record keeping and medical coding
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Experience working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
