This position is focused on providing psychosocial services for clients that receive medication to combat addiction to opioids and may experience co-occurring disorders.
Candidates should be comfortable with very early hours (6:00 AM starting time).
Job Overview
The Associate Therapist position is expected to leverage technology, such as Artificial Intelligence and analytics to improve the delivery of counseling services to clients. This position provides a great opportunity to learn how these tools support therapy. A successful candidate must be intellectually curious and a continuous learner. This position reports to the Clinical Director. The candidate is required to manage a minimum caseload of 30 clients in addition to other job-related responsibilities. Clients will be served in person and virtually.
Responsibilities and Duties
The specific duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Provide screening, assessment, individual and group counseling services for individuals addicted to opioids.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the American Society of Addiction Medicine manual and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM –V).
- Complete intakes for clients within established time frames; including completion of all required documents,
- Develop Treatment Plans and timely counseling notes for Individual Sessions.
- Understand and work within The Company’s Mission and Policies.
- Perform other duties as required by state regulatory rules.
- Understanding of outpatient medical clinic operation preferred
- Conduct Group Sessions on an assigned basis.
- Follow all confidentiality guidelines, including HIPAA and 42 CFR.
- Maintain flexibility with client scheduling, including early hours (6:00 AM starting time).
- Integrate the company’s technology, such as analytics and AI into the service process.
- Commitment to accelerated learning with a strong desire to support client recovery.
- Work in junction with OHH Team by assessing treatment needs and providing necessary resources to ensure client’s focus is primarily on their recovery.
Job Types: Full-time or Contract
Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
