As a Transactions Specialist I in the Plastics department your primary function will include, pulling blank plastics, embossing/personalization of plastics, mechanically matching card to carrier, and insertion of plastics along with associated materials for mail distribution. You will also manually process documents end-to-end that are not supported by the automation process, including hand folding, stuffing, and sealing mail.
Job responsibilities
- Responsible for printing UPS box work
- Responsible for Printing USPS labels, sticking, stuffing, verify and complete delivery and ensuring all Service level agreements (SLA) are met
- Responsible for printing Mass and MFER files and completing all work within monthly SLA timeframe
- Responsible for box work and ensuring all daily SLAs are met
- Responsible for sending Payments and Correspondence and send email
- Responsible for certified and registered mail and for updating the certified and registered mail tracking spreadsheet each time we get one
- Responsible for stamps (Endicia) which is used for registered mail and ensuring we communicate when low
- Responsible for UPS Misc Shipments and Materials Management Shipments and keeping proper log of tracking numbers
- Responsible for ordering zebra printer labels
- Responsible for ordering all USPS envelopes and supplies
- Responsible for sending report daily and updating all daily numbers for month end reporting
- Responsible for obtaining all mail code 100 batches for the clipboard for the floor and for USPS processing
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Able to lift 40-70lbs and deliver 200 lbs. supplies utilizing industrial pull/push carts
- Must be able to meet and maintain Quality and Productivity standards
- Must be able to adapt to a change in the work environment, included, but not limited to: daily directives from leadership, changes to standard operating procedures, and new technology
- Must be team-oriented, with solid interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain daily positive internal and external interactions, building upon team-driven success
- Able to prioritize assigned work daily based on client Service Level Agreements
- Participate and maintain departmental work area maintenance (5S)
- Problem solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft office
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
