Job Description:
The Sales Engineer will specialize in understanding all of the technical aspects of our manufacturing processes and communicating them to our customers. They will facilitate the completion of customer quotations by providing technical and administrative support to Sales and Engineering. This involves design review, managing customer deadlines, identifying the need & obtaining quotations for outside services, and assisting with creating detailed cost breakdown forms. Additionally, the associate will act as a (Sales) liaison to the Production and Quality teams for various other order fulfillment issues or customer interests.
Primary Responsibilities Include (But are not limited to):
· Prepare quotation documents (with data support from Engineering & Management)
· Regular email and Phone communication with Customers
· Conduct Design Review Meetings with Customers and aid in Design For Manufacturability
· Track & communicate the status of the RFQ pipeline of activities: due dates, priorities, etc.
· Solicit quotations for outside products or services pertaining to a Customer RFQ
· Coordinate with Production to assist with general order fulfillment needs of the Customer
· Prepare and deliver technical presentations to existing and prospective Customers
· Provide prompt and thorough follow-through on all customer interactions
· Occasional travel to assist the Sales team on Customer visits

Behaviors, Skills & Experience (Must Have):

· BS or BA from a four-year university (BSME preferred), OR equivalent work experience
· Strong organization and recordkeeping
· Basic proficiency with MS Office suite of applications, especially Excel and ERP software
· Able to provide technical solutions that meet Customer needs
Preferred
· Industry experience in Automotive, Industrial, Electrical System Hardware, or other Mechanical Systems markets
· Experience in or around a manufacturing environment
· Experience in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software
· Experience in the spring and wireform industry

Position:
Full-Time, with immediate availability
Must have a valid state driver’s license
