Summary of Position:
Responsible for directing all aspects of the client benefit plan implementation. Partners with all key internal and external stakeholders (i.e., sales/ service staff, consultants, plan sponsors, and other internal business units) to proactively identify and address critical implementation issues ensuring plan set up accuracy. Provides the highest-level of client service to guarantee the client’s expectations are consistently satisfied or exceeded. Works directly with benefit carriers and plan sponsors regarding plan set up and retiree communication are meeting CSM compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary point-of-contact for benefit plan implementation and annual carrier/ plan changes.
- Mediates and coordinates resolution of all project deliverables and implementation related issues.
- Develops and executes implementation strategy consistent with client expectations, streamlining the process to provide the best client and retiree experience.
- Schedules and facilitates recurring meetings with the client to ensure all parties are aware of implementation status.
- Effectively navigates implementation team dynamics and provides direction to fellow team members ensuring success of the overall implementation process.
- Designs, prepares, and coordinates retiree communication regarding any changes, updates, plan opt outs, in person and virtual meeting details, etc.
- Coordinate any virtual Retiree educational presentations.
- Solicits and assesses internal and external client feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement in the implementation process.
- Attend and participate in Team/ Division meetings.
- Lead or assist with internal company projects.
- Travel required: 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Life and Health Producer’s License (optional).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and Monday.com beneficial.
- Understanding of Medicare Products.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to deliver tasks on time.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of healthcare insurance industry.
- Solid understanding and experience with project management practices and tools.
- Proven success with time management and working with strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal), organizational, and prioritization skills, able to communicate at multiple levels of an organization and with plan sponsors/clients.
- 5 years of experience in the following:
o Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
