High school diploma or general education (GED) required and one or more years of post secondary experience work as a teacher assistant or similar paid/volunteer work which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to work with various ability levels of students. Skillful in effectively communicating with students, teachers, parents, and other school personnel. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and directions in carrying out tasks and procedures related to instructional and behavioral plans.
