Job Purpose
Support current production process and Manufacturing Development Engineering Department in the development and installation of new manufacturing lines/facilities for the production of component parts and troubleshooting current lines and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support production and maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting and repair of current production equipment. Implement countermeasures and training to prevent recurrence of repeat issues
- Analyze current production lines for cost reduction and process improvements. Create action items based on this analysis and implement
- Work with other MD members on the implementation of capital projects
- Create concepts and justification paperwork for new smaller capital projects. Follow project through to completion
- Train production and maintenance associates in the operation and troubleshooting of machine and automation issues
Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- At least five years of manufacturing experience and willingness to pursue Associate’s degree in Engineering within so many years.

- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues.
Working Conditions
- This job operates in an office setting (50%) and also on the manufacturing floor (50%).
- Incumbents may be subject to high temperatures, loud noises, and dirty working conditions.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax.
Physical Requirements
- May require lifting up to 50lbs, standing, sitting, walking, bending, stretching, and use of hands to feel, touch, or handle objects.
