We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cleaning & Inventory Specialist to join our farm team in Holstein, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of farm facilities, running errands for parts and supplies, managing inventory, restocking supplies, and handling mail. This role plays a crucial part in the smooth operation of the farm by supporting various aspects of daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of farm offices, break rooms, and farm housing to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Restocking Supplies
- Monitor stock levels of daily consumables and other farm supplies.
- Restock supplies as necessary to support ongoing farm operations.
- Coordinate trips to town for restocking supplies when required.
- Parts Runner
- Act as a parts runner when necessary, collecting parts and supplies from various locations as requested.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of inventory for parts, daily consumables, PPE, and other supplies.
- Track expenses related to farm equipment, pivots, and vehicles.
- Perform regular inventory checks and adjust stock levels as needed to meet farm operational demands.
- Mail and Receipts
- Collect, sort, and scan incoming mail.
- Scan paper receipts for asset manager processing.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a farm environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Proficient in using technology for inventory management and mail handling.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with various team members.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
License Required:
- Must possess a current and valid Driver's License
Work Environment:
- Primarily based on a farm property, which may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
- May require standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Compensation: $16.00 - $18,00 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week
