We are looking for a skilled UI/UX Designer to help Dream Foundry Game to work on a medical themed application, which includes virtual and physical objects. Job responsibilities include designing MR workflows, and widgets, as well as collaborating with our development team to create captivating and intuitive user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in designing user experiences and user interfaces for Mixed Reality (MR) and/or Augmented Reality (AR) applications across various platforms.

Must Have:
- Proven experience as a MR/VR UX & UI Designer with a focus on Mixed Reality, including designing interfaces for MR / AR applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing MR / AR design projects and proficiency in relevant design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
- Familiarity with Unity 3D development environment is a plus
- Solid understanding of AR principles, spatial design, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and animation tools (e.g., Blender, Unity, Maya) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale.
- Detail-oriented approach with a passion for creating intuitive and visually stunning user experiences.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting project deadlines and deliverables.
Nice To Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Previous experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience designing for MR / AR platforms (Unity AR Foundation, MRTK2, Unreal Engine) and wearable MR / AR devices.
- Experience with Hololens 2, Quest 3, or Vision Pro
Core Job Function:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into engaging MR/AR experiences.
- Design user interfaces, interactive elements, and visual assets for AR applications, ensuring seamless integration with real-world environments.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and functionality.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for optimal user experience.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in AR technology and user interface design.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet technical specifications.
- Provide guidance and support to junior designers or team members as needed.
This is a not an Entry Level position. We will only consider candidates with at least three years of professional experience in a non-scholastic setting. This is a contract position.
