Position Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m-5:00 p.m
- Located at 450 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, CT
- Hybrid work schedule
Position Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement systems of collaboration and support to advance early childhood workforce qualifications
- Provide oversight to the operations of the OEC’s workforce programs including:
- Workforce Pipeline
- Blue-Ribbon Panel recommendations
- Registry
- Higher Education Initiatives
- Lab Schools Investment Initiative
- Work collaboratively with OEC staff and partner organizations to develop and implement policies for the operations of workforce advancement activities
- Work collaboratively as a member of the team to incorporate best practices in early childhood higher education and early childhood services for young children
- Create innovations that advance best practice and bring those innovations to the Early Care and Education community
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data to inform decision making, report on outcomes, and plan future initiatives
