Job summary:
Assists as needed in the assessment, treatment planning, and implementation process and completes all required documentation. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with individual clients and their families. Assists clients' caregivers in implementing behavioral program for targeted behaviors. Attends and actively participates in consultation at least one time weekly and more often, as indicated. Attends and actively participates in a coordination meeting with the therapist at least weekly and more often as indicated and documents these meetings in progress notes. Completes a TBS Behavioral Assessment Form at least monthly. Provides Case Management and Linkage services and mental health support services per scope of practice guidelines. Serves as a community resource specialist to clients and facilitates involvement and participation with community/service-oriented organizations. Coordinates after-care/continuing care program for clients. Abides by the ethical standards promoted by CGC based on the Board of Behavioral Sciences and/ or the Board of Psychology as applicable, as well as professional associations related to the incumbent's clinical discipline. Attends quality assurance committee meetings and Staff Meetings as requested. Participates in individual clinical supervision and group clinical supervision, per regulatory and agency requirements. Participates in staff training programs, may provide mentoring for other clinicians. Informs management of cases requiring special attention. Comply with all federal regulation, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), for the privacy and security of client information.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's degree counseling, psychology, or social work; or two years’ experience providing client-related services in mental health and/or substance abuse. 30 semester units in counseling, psychology or social work may be substituted for one year of experience.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time
- Ability to move, traverse occasionally to access file cabinets, and client charts
- Ability to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, position machinery such as a computer, copier, printer, calculator, telephone equipment
- Must be able to communicate accurate information
